Sayings About Imam Hassan (AS)
The 2nd Holy
Imam Hassan(as):
Is the first born
son of the 1st holy Imam Ali Ibn Abu Taleb(as) and his holy wife, the
Lady Fatimah Al-Zahra(as), the Daughter of The Holy Prophet
Mohammad(pbuh&hf).
Imam Hassan(as):
He died slowly
and painfully, because of some poison that was mixed in his food, by
his greedy wife. Who had been paid for her deed by Muawiyah, who
promised her marriage to his son Yazeed. But later after her evil deed
of poisoning Imam Hassan(as), Muawiyah refused.
Imam Hussain(as):
His younger
brother, the 3rd holy Imam prepared his body for the burial, in his
Grandfather's(pbuh&hf) house, in AL-Medina. But was violently forced
to bury his dead brother's body instead in the nearby Al-Baqgea
Cemetery in Medina.
Al-Mujtaba:
Excelled all
others in his time in worshipping Allah (swt), in knowledge and in
spiritual perfections. He was more like The Prophet, than any other
person. He was the most kind hearted person in all of his family at
his time and the most forbearing among all the people.
His house
maid:
She happily
presented him a bunch of fresh flowers and because of her kind
gesture, the Imam(as) repaid her kindness by setting her free. When
questioned as to why he made the maid free? He said that it was
because of how Allah(swt) has disciplined us and he stated this from
the Holy Koran,
"When
you are greeted, you should respond in even a better way or just
return the greeting."
A Syrian
stranger:
Once a person
from Syria on a horse back entered Al-Medinan and asked for Imam
Hassan(as). The people on the streets pointed to where he could be
found. And when he met the Imam(as) on the street in the market place.
He started to abuse him loudly infront of all the people.
But the Imam(as)
kept perfectly still and did not respond or try move out of his way,
but instead stood quietly and politely listerning to all his abuses.
When the Syrian had finally said all that he wanted to say, the
infallible and holy Imam(as) stepped closer to him and grasped his
hand firmly with his right hand. Then with his left hand he placed it
gently onto the bewildered Syrian's right shoulder, said with a
sincere broad smile,
"As-Salaam
A'laykum. I think you must be a stranger and have just arrived to our
town. If you are in need of some food, we can provide it for you. If
you are in need of anything, then we will give it to you. Or if you
are in need of any directions, we can give it to you. And if you may
need a ride, we shall provide one for you, and if you are in need of
our protection, we are ready to protect you."
The man was
astonished at the reponse and after hearing all this he began to cry
and said sincerely,
"I testify that
you are the Deputy of Allah on earth. For only Allah knows better who
to entrust with His Divine Message."
