23. Shaikh Yousuf al-Bahrani (d. 1186 A.H.)

 

The great Faqih and traditionist, Shaikh Yousuf al-Bahrani, has said the following by way of debating: “... And he took him out by force, leading him like any commoner, then gathered firewood at his house in order to burn it and everyone inside it... He hit al-Zahra’ (A.S.) till she miscarried. And he slapped her till she fell face-long, hitting the ground with her forehead, and she audibly expressed her agony and grief.”^[1]
