25. Sayyid `Abdullah Shubbar (d. 1243 A.H.)

 

The knowledgeable scholar, Sayyid `Abdullah Shubbar, has said the following among his criticisms against `Omer ibn al-Khattab: “He intended to set the house of Fatima (A.S.) ablaze while the Commander of the Faithful (A.S.), Fatima (A.S.), al-Hasan (A.S.) and al-Husain (A.S.) were all inside it, and he hurt them.”^[1]
