The Awaited Dawn

By: Sister Mardhiya

When the sun would lay naked,
diffusing it's light,
presenting the awaited dawn.
Then, in my world of true colors,
I shall hear Gibrael's call,
as he would announce the victory of Justice.
I live to hear the galloping,
of a second Zuljenah,
on the dunes of Kerbala.
I live to see the day,
when the melancholy voices' of " Where is Hassan & Hussain? ",
is finally given a reply.
The day Islam's banner,
would be raised higher and higher,
by the hand of God,
is the day when Mahdi returns.
