Supplication of Kumail

By: Sister Mardhiya

Hold my hand, and gently guide me,
My eyes are blindfolded and can barely see.
Lead me, guide me, feel me a little;
like a porcelain doll,
my body is weak & brittle.
How will I withstand the heat of fire,
Whilst your mercy I wholly admire ?
Between me & your loyal servants;
how may I see the differenciation ?
Whilst, my head in your love has bowed in prostration ?
My Master;
Even if the punishments I do bear,
From you being separated is why this eye sheds a tear !
I believe in your Holy presence,
I can feel you at every instance !
Alas, how ungrateful have I been . . .
My Lord, in you mercy I have abundantly seen !
How may I ask help from other's,
when I have You ?
I ask you by Your glorious names;
forgive me by Your true servants,
for I am truly ashamed . . .
Not a single leaf falls without Your will;
the world without You is surely nil.
By Zahra & her family,
will You grant me a new birth ?
can You purify my heart from the laden dirt ?
You said, I can call onto you at any instance;
My Master, do break this never - ending silence !
