Life After Death
Condition of the people on the day of judgment
As
already stated in the previous article that when the trumpet shall be
blown, the souls will be breathed into the final forms for the Day of
Resurrection for the final Tudgement. The blow in the forms means the
time when everyone will assume his final form and according to
authentic traditions, on the Day of Judgment, people will be grouped
in accordance with their deeds and characters, performed in the
presentlife and each group will assume its form according to its
character.
In
Surab An-Naba, Allah (s.w.t.) says: 'The day when the Trumpet
shall be blown so you shall come forth in (huge) groups."
(78:18)

Purgatory Life (Barzakh)
"Barzakh" literally means 'barrier'.
In the Qur'an, it has been used for the period between death and the Day
of Resurrection.
"And behind them is the Barzakh
(barrier) till the Day they will be Resurrected." Holy Qur'an (23:100)
Our Third Imam (a.s.) has said that
"We will intercede on your
behalf on the Day of Judgment; but, by Allah, I am worried about you or
the period when you would be in Barzakh."

Does one directly enter the Day of
Resurrection after death and is one's futurity than decided? Or, does
one pass into a special world in the interval between death and the
Great Day of Judgement? (Evidently only God has the knowledge of the
time of the Great Day of Judgement, even the prophets are unaware of
it.)

Although the phenomenon of life counts as the most precious of gifts and
its loss is extremely grievous and terrifying, none can doubt that just
as surely as man embarks on his life involuntarily to spend some time in
this guest house we call the world, he must ultimately confront the

Why Do We
Fear Death?
The
fear of death, for most of the people, is not a matter which requires
any evidence because it is totally obvious and we also see that a lot
of people manifest extra-ordinary sensitivity with respect to the term
'death' and its reality. Thus the actual matter is self-evident. That
which requires proof and an answer is the reason for this fear and
alarm as to why we fear death?
